At the 4th Annual Wilmington Epicurean Evening, we heard from two of Methodist Home For Children's foster family successes: The Boneys, who are the subjects of our video above, and Chef Chris Lubben. Vnette and Denise Boney told their heart wrenching account of abandonment at ages 5 and 8... ending in their heart warming story of adoption. The girls' proud father accompanied his highly-successful daughters to the event. Chef Chris Lubben also shared his story of being fostered and adopted. Chris is now a successful chef in the Wilmington area. |
